Volunteer and Community Partnerships / Events Manager – Step Out Mentoring

Location: Camberwell- London Borough of Southwark

Contract: Fixed term- 1 year contract

Salary: £28,000-£32,000 pro rata. 3 days a week

This is a part-time role, with working hours between 10:30-7pm and some evenings and weekends as required. 

Step-Out Mentoring is an early intervention mentoring organisation that provides support for children and young people in the heart of South London through outdoor based 1:1 mentoring and group workshops. We work with children and young people aged 8-18 who are disengaged with education and/or life.

About the role.

We are looking for a highly engaging Volunteering and Community Partnerships Manager to lead and grow on the recruitment, development and retention of our pool of volunteers. You will work across the team to ensure all volunteers are well-supported, feel valued, and are making meaningful contributions to the charities mission. You will also plan and organise a calendar of fundraising and community events for the charity.
